Puskádi to lead the ERC field today in Gran Canaria

János Puskádi will start first on the road on today's second leg of Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Inglés, the opening round of the 2016 FIA European Rally Championship.

Making his first ERC start since 2014, the Hungarian driver steered his new ŠKODA Fabia R5 to 10th position at the end of day one.

As a result, he heads the start list for Saturday's six stages. Jarosław Kołtun will be second in his Ford Fiesta R5, followed by the ERC2 leader Wojciech Chuchała (Subaru Impreza STi). Rally leader Kajetan Kajetanowicz will head off 10th.

Mads Østberg appears next up in 11th on the leg two start list under the Rally 2 rules, but won't be taking the restart after damaging his Fiesta in his SS7 crash.
