ERC’s leading duo to battle again on Circuit of Ireland

Alexey Lukyanuk and Kajetan Kajetanowicz will square up again on round two of the FIA European Rally Championship, the Circuit of Ireland.

The two Ford Fiesta R5 drivers fought over victory on the season-opening Rally Islas Canarias, with Russian driver Lukyanuk succeeding to take his second consecutive ERC win and an early championship lead.

With his budget limited, it wasn't certain that Lukyanuk would be travelling to Northern Ireland, but he will be taking part in the 7-9 April event.

Last year's Circuit of Ireland was Lukyanuk's first proper asphalt rally, and he recovered from a broken driveshaft to finish sixth. Kajetanowicz meanwhile finished a close second to Craig Breen, who returns to the ERC for this event to defend his Circuit title.

Lukyanuk, Kajetanowicz and other ERC regulars will go up against a host of top drivers from the British and Irish domestic scenes in a huge entry of R5 and Super 2000 machinery.
