You can’t assume anything, says ERC leader Kajetanowicz
Kajetan Kajetanowicz believes "there is still a lot of work to do" before he can secure his second straight FIA European Rally Championship crown.
A maximum score on home soil on Rally Rzeszow last week - his first win of the 2016 season - increased the LOTOS Rally Team driver's lead at the top of the ERC standings to 76 points with three rounds remaining.
However, speaking in the aftermath of his triumph in Rzeszow, he said he was not yet thinking about the title.
"Yes we are in a good situation but there are still three rallies to go in the championship so you can never tell and we are taking it rally by rally," he said.
"Of course the plan is to win the title again but you cannot assume that. There is still a lot of work to do and we will keep concentrating hard. I'm not thinking of that."
