Why Rzeszow finish was important for ERC’s Kołtun

Simply reaching the finish of Rally Rzeszow was important for Polish FIA European Rally Championship regular Jarosław Kołtun last weekend.

The C-Rally Ford Fiesta R5 driver came eighth on his first appearance on his challenging asphalt event since a big crash on the 2013 edition.

"It was probably the hardest rally for us," explained Kołtun. "Now I am at the finish and this was the most important thing for us. It was important to finish the rally and we are here."

The result was Kołtun's fifth points finish from six starts in this year's ERC, and moved him up to level on points with fourth position in the drivers' standings.
