Subaru Poland’s Dymurski goes from 15 to one on Rally Rzeszow in the ERC
Wojciech Chuchała's co-driver Daniel Dymurski achieved his 15th finish from as many Rally Rzeszow starts last weekend, and says his memories from the event's FIA European Rally Championship debut will be the best yet.
Dymurski has contested - and finished - the asphalt event every year but one since his debut in 2001, including taking two second-place finishes alongside Tomasz Kuchar. He and Chuchała made it five ERC2 wins from as many starts together for the Subaru Poland Rally Team on their home event, also coming seventh overall.
"Victory in Poland has a unique taste," he said. "From the very beginning we have focused on our work, we enjoyed the ride and we controlled the tempo. Constantly we were looking for a better and better settings, bringing our Subaru to perfection.
"It is very pleasant to win, that's my 15 start on Rally Rzeszow and the 15th time I'm at the finish. I have great memories associated with this rally, and this year they will be even better, especially because the fans cheering were really noticeable. We thank them for their support."
