Rally Rzeszow always a thrill for French ERC pair

French pair Bryan Bouffier and Xavier Panseri thoroughly enjoyed competing on Rally Rzeszow as part of the FIA European Rally Championship for the first time, even though they missed out on victory.

Bouffier is a three-time Polish champion and four-time previous winner of the asphalt event, so he and co-driver Panseri - who lives in Poland and competed under the host nation's flag last weekend - always get a good reception from the local fans. The pair finished the rally in second place behind Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Jarek Baran.

"We always have a fantastic welcome here and it is a brilliant rally, with some really amazing stages," said Panseri. "Of course I wanted for us to win here, but in the end it was not possible, because of course that is how the sport is and this is normal. What was important was that we had a great weekend; it was a very enjoyable rally."
