ERC champion Kajetanowicz in the running to emulate Kubica, Zasada

Kajetan Kajetanowicz could become only the third motorsport star to win newspaper Przegląd Sportowy's prestigious Polish Sportsman of the Year award after he was nominated for the first time.

Making history after claiming a third consecutive FIA European Rally Championship title in succession in 2017, Kajetanowicz could follow former ERC champion Sobiesław Zasada (1967) and Robert Kubica (2008) as only the third driver to win the Plebiscyt na Najlepszego Sportowca Polski, which was instigated way back in 1926.
