Back by popular demand, Paul Smith, Shane Lynch and Shane O'Sullivan will be thrilling crowds with a precision display filled with slipping, sliding and tyre smoke in their respective cars - 1.5JZ Nissan Silvia S15, 2JZLexus IS200 and RB25 Nissan Silvia S15.

The multi-championship winning team is partnered by high-performance tyre manufacturer, Maxxis Tyres, which supplies tyres for a wide range of applications from cars and trucks to motorcycles and trailers. The team competes on Maxxis MAZ1 rubber in various national and international drift events including the British and Irish Drift Championships and Gymkhana. In addition to supporting the team's attendance, the manufacturer will also have an action-packed stand at the event.

Showcasing the full breadth of its tyre offering, Maxxis' display will feature a range of diverse settings from a rock and tree filled area for its 4x4 tyres, to a start gate to represent its motorcross options.

As tyre safety is of upmost importance to Maxxis, leading not-for-profit organisation Tyre Safe, will occupy a section of its stand. In order to raise awareness about potential tyre issues and their dangers, there will be a competition on stand for visitors to identify the different problems represented on the tyres of a car. Those who answer correctly will be entered into a draw to win an iPad.

Autosport International is always an action-packed event and we're glad we are able to be a part of both the show and Live Action Arena again this year. The drift team are sure to be a real highlight, thrilling visitors of all ages with their incredible car control."

Ian France, Autosport International Show Director, commented: "It's great that Maxxis Tyres is attending again this year to not only showcase their product range but also work with Tyre Safe to help raise awareness about the importance of tyre safety.

"We're also pleased that they are able to participate in our Live Action Arena again with the Maxxis Japspeed Drift Team, who have proved extremely popular at previous shows. The team is a great addition to the wide range of content featuring varied driving skills, which truly represents the many different forms of motorsport."
