The last round in the Maserati Trofeo, held at Abu Dhabi, saw Romain Monti triumph.
The Frenchman received his award during a prize-giving ceremony on Friday 11 December at the Yas Beach Club. The enchanting venue is in Yas Marina, overlooking the sea. Hosting proceedings and handing out awards was Roberto Bozzi, Maserati's Sales & Marketing Motorsport Manager.

He was flanked by Umberto Cini, Maserati's Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. It turned into a profitable evening for Monti: as well as pocketing the overall title, he also picked up the Under-30 crown and the single-driver title. His prize was a set of personalised Sparco racing overalls dedicated to the Maserati Trofeo champion.

Riccardo Ragazzi, second overall, claimed the Pole Position title while Australian Richard Denny topped the Over-50 standings. Andreas Segler received an award for taking part in every single round of the six Maserati Trofeo seasons, from Monza in 2010 to Abu Dhabi in 2015.

The German was presented with a Maserati GranTurismo MC Trofeo engine hood decorated with the image of Jim Morrison, leader of The Doors. Throughout his Trofeo career, Segler's always sported this livery.

To round things off, Jeff Courtney took the special classification reserved to North American drivers: the Trofeo Maserati North America.
