Jerzy Dudek joins Volkswagen Golf Cup!

Two weeks before the official testing session, scheduled for March 23rd - 24th on the Slovakia Ring circuit, the titled Polish footballer - Jerzy Dudek, has decided to join the series.

This will be the second full season in branded Volkswagen Golf Cup for the representative of such successful clubs like Feyenoord Rotterdam, FC Liverpool and Real Madrid. Jerzy Dudek has begun his racing adventure in the spring of 2013, when as a VIP driver he took part in the Volkswagen Castrol Cup's inaugural round at Tor Poznan. Two years ago the former football player, who joined the Outstanding Representative Club, took part in two other rounds also held in the capital city of Wielkopolska.

In 2014 Jerzy Dudek has decided to fully devote himself to racing and already as a full-time driver he took part in all seven rounds of the Volkswagen Cup. The season 2015 will be another opportunity to see Dudek behind the wheel of the Golf GTI with a 2-liter TSI engine, which power thanks to the Push-to-Pass is raised up to 310 horsepower. Jerzy Dudek: - I am very glad that I will be able to compete in the Volkswagen Golf Cup this year. It has been a while for me to get ready for the new season, but thanks to Volkswagen Racing Polska and STS Logistics we managed to finish all preparations on time.

I hope that this year will be even better than the previous one, when I was able to gather a lot of experience as a rookie. Hopefully, this will pay off in 2015. I know, it will not be easy, as we have a lot of new experienced drivers from the Scirocco R-Cup. I had an opportunity to race with them last year during my visit in Moscow. I am looking forward to the first round of Volkswagen Golf Cup and wish you all positive emotions only .
