Björk: Bring on the WTCC’s fast and challenging
Thed Björk is all set for a "fast and challenging" ride when the FIA World Touring Car Championship stops off in Italy next week.
Swift Swede Björk, part of the all-star Polestar Cyan Racing attack on the 2017 WTCC, will be in action at mythical Monza from 29-30 April and can't wait for the chance to tame the Italian Grand Prix venue in his Volvo S60 Polestar.
"It's a fantastic track which I have raced on before in F3000," said Björk, who finished second in the Opening Race at WTCC AFRIQUIA Race of Morocco earlier this month to stake his claim for more on-track success. "It's fantastic because of the culture and history but also because it's fast and challenging and it has the high-speed that makes you love motor racing. It's a great place and when you get the Ascari chicane right it feels good."
