In beide gevallen met een Ford Fiesta RS WRC van M-Sport. “De Rally van Duitsland is voor mij één van de mooiste wedstrijden. De klassementsproeven zijn zeer gevarieerd en het is bovendien mijn thuiswedstrijd. Er staan altijd veel Nederlandse fans langs de kant en dat maakt deze rally extra speciaal”, vertelt de 28-jarige rallyrijder. Voorbereidingstraject Voor de terugkeer op het hoogste niveau heeft het FERM World Rally Team samen met M-Sport een uitgebreid voorbereidingstraject samengesteld. Begin augustus rijdt Dennis Kuipers met zijn Belgische navigator Robin Buysmans in een Ford Fiesta S2000 de Rallye Wartburg om ritme op te doen. Aansluitend werkt de Nederlandse coureur een tweedaagse test af met M-Sport om kennis te maken met de nieuwste evolutie van de Ford Fiesta RS WRC. ‘WK-niveau zeer hoog’ Het wordt voor Dennis Kuipers zijn vierde deelname aan de WK Rally van Duitsland. Zijn beste resultaat was een 10e plaats in 2011. In dat seizoen behaalde Dennis Kuipers in totaal 7 top 10-resultaten inclusief een historische vijfde plaats in Frankrijk. “Ik ben er een tijd uit geweest, dus het zal geen eenvoudige opgave zijn; het niveau in het WRC is zeer hoog.
