Why 53 is the magic number for ERC’s Falcón

Emma Falcón can't wait to continue her bid for ERC Ladies' Trophy glory on Barum Czech Rally Zlín - because she'll get to run her favourite number 53.

The number is significant for the Spaniard because it adorned the replica Herbie Volkswagen Beetle her father bought her when she passed her driving test 10 years ago.

She wrote on Twitter: "With the #53 I hope to have a lucky number - I used to have it in my previous car."

Canary Islander Falcón holds a 27-point advantage over Briton Catie Munnings in the ERC Ladies' Trophy standings.
