New rally, refreshed livery, same talented driver: ERC Junior champion Gryazin ready for world bid

Nikolay Gryazin has revealed a “refreshed” livery as he prepares to make his FIA World Rally Championship debut in Sweden next week as the reigning FIA ERC Junior Under 28 champion.

Gryazin is stepping up to the world stage with the same Sports Racing Technologies squad that guided him and co-driver Yaroslav Fedorov to ERC glory in 2018.

The Latvia-based Russian star will again rely on ŠKODA Fabia R5 power and Pirelli tyres for his 2019 campaign, which will also include two ERC starts – his prize for winning ERC Junior U28, the category for young stars in R5 cars.

“We’ve just refreshed our livery a little, slightly rekindled,” he wrote on Facebook.
