Can Finn Hokkanen fly higher in ERC Junior U27?

Miika Hokkanen plans to build on his maiden podium when the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship reaches its climax on Rally Liepāja (12-14 October).

Co-driven by fellow Finn Reeta Hämäläinen, Hokkanen finished third in the Pirelli-supported category on last month's PZM Rally Poland.

And with high-speed gravel events second nature to the Saintéloc Junior Team driver, a second podium finish is the target in Latvia.

"I'm very happy to continue to race on gravel after I got some experience in the PEUGEOT 208 R2 in Poland and I hope that we can improve our speed in Latvia," said Hokkanen. "Last year the race was quite wet, so it will be interesting to see what the weather will be like this year. But we will try to finish our season with a good result, as always."
