Björk: the feeling is fantastic following Lynk & Co WTCR testing
Former FIA World Touring Car champion Thed Björk has tested the Lynk & Co 03 TCR, giving it his seal of approval following initial running.
Björk, who was confirmed as Lynk & Co Cyan Racing’s first signing for the 2019 WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCAO last month, has been in action at Estoril in Portugal and Mantorp Park in his native Sweden as preparations for the Lynk & Co 03 TCR’s debut next season continue apace.
“The feeling to turn the first laps of an all-new race car is fantastic and I must say the Lynk & Co 03 TCR has lived up to my expectations,” said Björk, a four-time winner in WTCR OSCARO 2018.
“Geely Group Motorsport has done a great job of development so far and we can’t wait to get going as we no doubt are facing one of the toughest seasons in the history of touring car racing in 2019.”
