Rookies get ready for WTCC Race of Macau

Kin Pong Clerebold Chan and Po Wah Wong will not only be making their debuts in the FIA World Touring Car Championship in Macau this week, they will also be tackling the 6.120-kilometre Circuito da Guia for the first time.

Clerebold (right) and Wong (left) are both products of the Zhuhai-based Ferrari Challenge but will swap Italian sportscar for a Campos Racing Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 World Touring Car at WTCC JVCKENWOOD Race of Macau, the Suncity Group Macau Guia Race.

"I know this track 50/50," Clerebold explained. "I do a lot of simulator and I watch the Macau races for a long time. But I have never raced on this track and it's my pleasure, an honour to do so. And because it's my first time here I come for the experience only."

Wong added: "I want to finish the races and get experience. I will try to do that."
