Prepare for more live Azores ERC coverage

The Azores Airlines Rallye, the opening event of the 2017 FIA European Rally Championship season, is set for an online streaming bonanza.

Through a partnership with RTP Açores, live coverage of the event from 29 March-1 April will be available through the Azores Airlines Rallye's YouTube channel and via the event's official website.

The coverage will include the City Show demonstration event, the start selection ceremony, SS Grupo Marques and the post-rally podium as follows:

29 March, from 20h27 local time: Azores Airlines Rallye City Show
30 March, from 12h30: Start selection ceremony
30 March, from 13h00: Pre-event press conference
30 March, from 17h15: SS Grupo Marques superspecial
1 April, from 12h30: SS Grupo Marques superspecial
1 April, from 18h50: Podium ceremony

Francisco Coelho, Chairman of the Azores Airlines Rallye Organising Committee, said: "It is very important and allows rally fans that are unable to visit the Azores and São Miguel island by the end of March, to follow the FIA ERC season's opening event action as well as to get acquainted with the Azores. It is a good way for rally fans all over the world to get curious around the magic of these islands and an invitation for a very near future visit"
