Nagy reveals his unfinished ETCC business
Norbert Nagy can't wait to return to the FIA European Touring Car Cup in 2017. The Zengő Motorsport driver is determined to banish the memories of his Vila Real retirement when a puncture robbed him of an almost certain victory.
Speaking during the recent ETCC Awards Ceremony in Paris, Nagy said not winning on the Portuguese streets from pole position amounted to a "disaster". He wants revenge when the ETCC returns to Vila Real from 23-25 June.
"It started like a dream, I won the qualification and was leading the race," the Hungarian prospect explained. "Then on the last lap I had a puncture. In the second race I get the third place but it's not enough for me and I have to go back next year to win this race."
Nagy is pictured receiving his third-place trophy from François Ribeiro, Head of Eurosport Events, the ETCC promoter.
