More ŠKODA fun for ex-ERC champion Kopecký
Former ERC champion Jan Kopecký will continue his rallying adventure with ŠKODA's factory team in 2017 - and the European championship-counting Barum Czech Rally Zlín is expected to form part of his campaign.
Kopecký, from Czech Republic, claimed the FIA European Rally Championship spoils with ŠKODA in 2013 on the back of six victories.
He is set to tackle a selection of events at world and national level in 2017 with the ERC-counting Barum Czech Rally Zlín, which also counts for Czech championship points, likely to be included on his schedule.
Co-driven by compatriot Pavel Dresler, Kopecký's victory tally in the ERC stands at 12 triumphs including six on his home round of the championship. He's also a two-time winner in WRC2.
Barum Czech Rally Zlín counts as round six of next season's ERC from 25-27 August.
