Michal Solowow and Maciek Baran will enter the Rally 1000 Miglia 2012 in the new car

Michal Solowow and Maciek Baran will enter the 36. Rally 1000 Miglia and the whole ERC series 2012 in the brand new Peugeot 207 S2000 Evo 2012. After performing in Ford Fiesta S2000 for two years, the duo from Poland returns to the car that brought them many moments of satisfaction in 2008 and 2009 (two runners-up titles in ERC).

The new Peugeot has been assembled in 7 days. Painting of the body and the chassis took 2 days and then the team of 5 mechanics started to perform laborious and precise job in order to install more than 10 000 pieces of parts and about 1588 meters of various electric wires. This year Cersanit Rally Team will take part in all 11 rounds of the European Rally Championship including two IRC events (Geko Ypres Rally and Barum Rally).

"We have got great opportunity to face up new challenges. This year ERC seems to be very interesting due to the changes in the system of scoring. Each crew that takes part in the particular event can fight for the points in the ERC standings. Surely some new drivers will appear. Thus it will make the competition more exciting"  Michal Solowow reported.
