Martinengo to join World RX TV Team for Cape Town

South African broadcaster Sasha Martinengo has confirmed he will join Andrew Coley as co-commentator for Gumtree World RX of South Africa - the final round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy (10-12 November).

Martinengo, also known as Sid the Sloth, is a South Africa radio DJ, television sports presenter and MC. He was born and bred in Johannesberg and is one of the most recognisable faces and voices behind motorsport in South Africa. He currently commentates the F1 races for SuperSport - the same TV station which broadcasts World RX.

Martinengo spoke positively about the opportunity to get involved with Cape Town RX: "I am beyond excited to be part of the World RX comms team. This international event has been a long time coming and Cape Town is the perfect setting for this extravaganza. I can't wait to get started!"
