Major recognition for Griebel following ERC success

Marijan Griebel's achievements in winning the inaugural FIA ERC Junior Under 28 Championship have been recognised by ŠKODA Motorsport.

Griebel used one of the Czech firm's Fabia R5s to clinch the coveted title in 2017 during what ŠKODA Motorsport has described as its most successful season when it celebrated five international titles and 13 national titles.

Nikolay Gryazin, Jan Kopecký and Bruno Magalhães also enjoyed ERC success in 2017 driving Fabia R5s with all three winning a round, while Magalhães challenged for the overall title up until the final round, eventually settling for the runner-up spot behind Kajetan Kajetanowicz.
