Just 0.3s apart: ERC Love Cyprus Golden Stage proves a big hit
The Love Cyprus Golden Stage proved a big hit with three-tenths of a second separating the fastest two drivers as round four of the FIA European Rally Championship finished in Ayia Napa yesterday.
Al-Attiyah beat Kajetanowicz to victory by the narrow margin of 0.3s in a thrilling finale to the two-stage contest, which rewarded the overall combined winner with 10,000 euros in prize money.
There were separate prizes for the fastest Cypriot crew (Alexandros Tsoulftas/Stelios Elia), who won 7,000 euros, while Zacharias Manoli was the fastest two-wheel-drive contender on the Love Cyprus Golden Stage, also picking up 7,000 euros.
