Good ERC things come to José who wait

José Suárez says he has the "perfect package" for more FIA ERC Junior Under 28 Championship success following his maiden podium in Poland last time out.

The Peugeot Rally Academy member placed third in class on Rally Rzeszow behind winner Marijan Griebel and runner-up Sylvain Michel to end a frustrating run of results.

"We are very happy to have finished on the podium in Poland and to have scored another good result for Peugeot Sport," said Spaniard Suarez. "It was important for our confidence to show that we have the speed to challenge for the win. We are hoping for an even stronger run in Barum Rally. We've shown we are competitive and the car is reliable so now we have the perfect package to get a good result. I love speedy rallies, so I'm sure I'll enjoy Barum Rally a lot. I think Tarmac is the field where I can perform better."

Barum Czech Rally Zlín takes place from 25-27 August. Suárez, who is co-driven by countryman Cándido Carrera, will make his debut on the all-asphalt contest.
