ETCC racer Pfister goes electric to help young karters
Andreas Pfister's series for electric karts will continue in the New Year as part of FIA European Touring Car Cup race winner's efforts to help young drivers showcase their talents.
Since it began in 2015, the Pfister-Racing E-Kart Series has developed into a highly serious and competitive class for electric karts in Germany. As the only competition of its kind in the country, Pfister says the E-Kart Series is unique in its organisation, while a big prize awaits the winner.
"We are very happy to start the Pfister-Racing E-Kart Series on 27 January at the E-Kart Center Würzburg," said Pfister. "We will have four endurance races this season with nine teams, two drivers each. There are still some places free and we have a very good opportunity for young drivers to show their talent in karting."
Pfister confirmed the E-Kart Series winner will receive a test drive in a Pfister-Racing-run touring car at the Salzburgring in Austria with his team covering all costs.
