ERC Teams’ title the focus for Bostanci
Murat Bostanci's eyes will be very much on the prize when Barum Czech Rally Zlín takes place from 25-27 August.
Bostanci is part of the Castrol Ford Team Turkey outfit that leads the prestigious FIA European Rally Championship for Teams by a comfortable 45-point margin.
"We're totally focused on the Teams' championship now," said Bostanci. "Barum is one of the hardest of the calendar in terms of the number and quality of local competitors so it is important to keep in mind we have a priority objective to finish this event and score points for our team. I know it is difficult but it would be a good result to make a top 10 finish."
His father and team boss Serdar Bostanci added: "I can easily say Barum will be the most tricky event for our team. We have a good lead in the Teams' championship but we will not be doing the Italian round so the Czech rally is ever more critical for us. We had budgeted to do six rounds for 2017 but we are now considering to enter the Latvian round as well. We will decide on this after Barum Rally. Our number one objective is to bring all our crews to the finish."
