ERC life begins at 40 for Poloński

Dariusz Poloński will get his big international break in this season's FIA European Rally Championship - aged 40.

Despite beating Łukasz Habaj and double ERC champion Kajetan Kajetanowicz to the Peugeot Cup title in Poland in 2005, Poloński has only managed a handful of appearances outside his homeland. Until now.

Starting from next month's Rally Islas Canarias, Poloński will compete in a Peugeot 208 R2 for Rallytechnology when he will be a contender for ERC3 honours.

Poloński has numerous Polish class titles to his name, including Class 4 last season. He will prepare for his ERC adventure by contesting the Świdnicki Rally from 21-23 April.
